The new agreement gives Thuraya a data service presence in Iraq, and enhanced broadcasting capabilities, backed by TechnoThink’s media broadcasting influence.
Thuraya has announced the signing of a partnership with satellite communications company, TechnoThink at the ongoing OPV (Offshore Patrol Vessels) event in Iraq. This strategic alliance will enable TechnoThink to launch data services in Iraq. The partnership allows the companies to combine interests and increase both their distribution channels among government, maritime, media and enterprise sectors in the surrounding region.
Established in 2017, TechnoThink, a subsidiary of United Networks, a member of Iraq Projects Company , has risen to be a prominent provider of satellite communications, satellite broadcasting and managed telecommunications solutions. The new agreement gives Thuraya – for the first time – a data service presence in Iraq, and enhanced broadcasting capabilities, backed by TechnoThink’s media broadcasting influence and forte. Meanwhile, TechnoThink can look forward to furthering their service capabilities over land and sea in the Middle East and North Africa region via Thuraya’s range of data products.
